Kolsch (Not On Tap)

Kolsch is a light ale fermented with a special ale yeast strain that is capable of fermentation at lager temperatures. As with most lager styles, Kolsch is light in body and golden in color. The beer has a clean, crisp palate with a soft dry finish. Hopping is light to allow a slight hop flavor and subtle spiceness from the German Saphir hops. The ABV is 5.4% and hop bitterness is 14 BU's.
