The English Pale Ales are generally known as bitters, and our version does not fit nicely into a single bitters category. The body is medium and color is deep golden to amber. Hopping consisted of UK Admiral for bitterness and East Kent Goldings and Fuggles for flavor and aroma adds. The beer was fermented with Thames Valley yeast from an old and now defunct English brewery. The brew was dry hopped with additional East Kent Golds and Fuggles for another layer of flavor. Our version is 5.4% ABV and about 21 BU's, or bitterness units.
