American Oak Baltic Porter

A beer style dating back to the 18th century in England. Brewed for shipment to Russia and later brewed in the Baltic states where it is still a popular style. Our version uses four specialty malts to achieve its dark color and rich flavor. This version has a drier finish than normal due to aging on white American oak that had a medium char applied to it, which is noticeable in the aroma and flavor making this a unique beer. With a 7.0% ABV, this should be a nice beer to enjoy during the cooler months to keep you warm!
