Our Apricot Ale is a light ale, both in color and body, infused with 252 pounds of apricot puree upon completion of fermentation. The base beer is a 50% mix of malted barley and malted spelt. Spelt is an ancient grain that is considered a wheat. It does not add much flavor to the brew, thus allowing the apricot flavors to dominate. Lightly hopped with only 13 IBU’s which offer only a modest bittering to the overall flavor profile. A very drinkable brew with a nice balance and discernible apricot flavor that is not overpowering. Great for drinking out on our patio!
