Azacca hops are a relatively new variety that have flavors described as tropical with mango and citrus notes. Other notes may be orchard fruits such as pears and apples. This brew used 6 pounds for dry hopping along with 3 pounds in the kettle for late hop additions. The hop profile is subtle yet full of flavor without being bitter. Medium in body with a light amber color from a small crystal malt addition which balances the malts nicely with the hops for a very drinkable brew.
