This version of American Pale Ale is brewed with three hop varieties, 2 row base malt and three specialty malts that provide a nice copper color and a light body. Apollo hops were used for bittering along with Centennial and Vic Secret hops for the late kettle additions. A hearty dose of dry hops were added at the end of fermentation and in the bright tank for this brew. At 40BU’s and 5.5% ABV this crisp pale ale has a very forward tropical fruit/citrus hop aroma and flavor that is balanced out with nice malt character.
