This version of American Pale Ale is brewed with two hop varieties, 2 row base malt and a touch of crystal malt that provides a nice light gold color. Apollo hops were used for bittering along with Crystal hops for the late kettle additions. Most of the hops we use come from the west coast, but the Crystals hops used for this brew were sourced from Hallowed Hops in Lewistown, IL. A double dose of dry hops were used for this brew leading to a very forward spice/floral/fruit hop aroma and flavor. This is a nice hop forward ale that comes in at 39IBU’s and an ABV of 6.1%!
