Smithton is a British style mild that is very light in body and alcohol and yet full of subtle malt flavors. Hints of raisins, toasted coffee and plums linger in the background. Hopping is light with no flavor notes imparted from the hops, only a slight bitterness for balance. We serve Smithton lightly carbonated to bring out the full flavors of the malts. The ABV is 4.4% and hop bitterness is 17 bitterness units.
